Thelma G. Crowder

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Thelma G. Crowder, 93, 120 S. Land St., Harrisburg, died 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with Elder John Kuppart officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 12:30 p.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on April 1, 1916, to the late Dan and Allie (Floyd) Doolin. She married Ferrell F. Crowder on April 27, 1938, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1988.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ in Harrisburg.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Crowder of Harrisburg and Ron Crowder of Carrier Mills; a daughter, Sue Beltz of Harrisburg; a sister, Beulah Huff of Marion; several grandchildren, including Mike Crowder of Harrisburg, who was raised in the home, several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell Crowder; two sons, Glendell Crowder and William Crowder; three sisters, Bonnie Fulkerson, Emily Meacham and Bernice Bailey; and a brother, James Doolin.
