David Lee Van Hoy

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[David Lee Van Hoy, 45, 190 Fritts Road, Stonefort, died 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Harl Cockrum officiating. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1964, in Marion to Larry and the late Judy (Wells) Van Hoy.

He worked at Maytag in Herrin before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Harrisburg. He was a graduate of Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School.

He is survived by a daughter, Payton Van Hoy of Carrier Mills; father, Larry Van Hoy of Carrier Mills; uncle, Ronnie (Pat) Wells of Harrisburg; aunt, Rita Adams of Harrisburg; aunt, Debbie (Mike) Summers of Paducah, Ky.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Van Hoy; and grandparents, Charlie and Marie Wells and John and Alma Jean Van Hoy.
