Harl Leon Milligan
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harl Leon Milligan, 50, of Grayville, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Wabash General Hospital, after an automobile accident near Cowling.
He was born Oct. 25, 1959, in Eldorado, the son of Harl Lewis Milligan and Mary Frances (Wood) Skaggs. He was married to Kimberly (Bisch) Milligan of Grayville, and she survives.
Leon was a production team member at the Duke Energy power plant near Princeton, Ind. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1393. Leon was an avid Miami Dolphins football fan, and enjoyed hunting, attending his children's sports activities and for many years he was a basketball referee. He was a great loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He attended the First Baptist Church in Grayville.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Milligan of Grayville; mother Mary Frances Skaggs of Shawneetown; stepmother, Jackie Milligan of Kinston, N.C.; two sons, Joseph Milligan of Grayville and Taylor Milligan of 29 Palms, Calif.; stepson, Logan Bailey of Grayville; two daughters, Heather Lane and her husband Levi and Kinley Milligan; and stepdaughter, Kelsey Bailey, all of Grayville; three brothers, Troy Milligan of Junction, Shaun Milligan and his wife Angie of Kinston, N.C., and Curt Milligan and his wife Debbi of Elgin; one sister, Tracie Milligan of Pawley Island, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Payton Howard, Amber Lane, Ava Milligan-Staples and Easton Milligan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harl Lewis Milligan; and his grandparents, Kelly and Melba Wood.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Grayville. Funeral is at 11 am, Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Grayville. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
Memorials may be made to the Kinley Milligan Scholarship Fund and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville or Firstbank in Grayville.
