Clay G. Killman
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Clay G. Killman, 57, Stonefort, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
Clay was born at home on Sept. 26, 1952, to the late Jewell and Chlola Zarecor Killman.
Clay worked for Sahara Coal Company from 1970 to 1975, when he became disabled from a mining accident. Clay was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church and the Stonefort Masonic Lodge No. 495 and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Clay married Dianna Parker on Dec. 18, 1971. Together, they have two daughters, Terri (Ken) Jenkins of Harrisburg and Amanda (Tommy) Crum of Stonefort. Clay enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren, Clayton Crum, Kelsey Crum and Garrett Jenkins. He is also survived by one sister, Lisa (Sam) Short of Marion; and a brother, Laren Killman of Harrisburg.
Clay was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Carrie Pickering; a nephew, Aaron Pickering; and a sister-in-law, Syble Killman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. David Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Bolton-Trammell Cemetery at Stonefort. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. by the Stonefort Masonic Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Bolton-Trammell Cemetery in his memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
