Barbara A. Davenport

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara A. Davenport, 71, 504 N. Mill St., Carrier Mills, died 3 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

A memorial service for cremated remains will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time Saturday.

She was born on July 20, 1938, in Carrier Mills to the late Claude and Grace (Pankey) Mitchell. She married Roscoe Eugene Davenport on Sept. 1, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1997.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Davenport of Carrier Mills and Darren Davenport of Eldorado; a sister, Wanda Music of Carrier Mills; and five grandchildren, Sara, Amanda, Josh, Kristin and Joe Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Adam Davenport; and six brothers, Charles, Tom, John, Theodore, Bob and Bill Mitchell.
