Geneva Keane

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Geneva Keane, age 94, longtime resident of Ridgway, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, in the Ridgway Manor Nursing Home.

Geneva was born in Gallatin County on Feb. 3, 1915, to the late Roy and Rosa (Cox) McGrew.

She was a homemaker. Geneva was married on Oct. 15, 1938, to John Keane, who preceded her in death in 1986. She attended and was a active member of the Ridgway Church of God. In her younger years she was the church Treasurer. She was a good wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered by her caring and compassion of everyone she knew; she was a joy to be around. She loved the Lord and always put the Lord first and foremost in her daily life.

She is survived by several great nieces and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Leroy, Cecil and Lewis McGrew; and two sisters, Mary Boulds and Regina Frailey.

Services for Geneva will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. The Rev. Lyndal Sork will offiate and burial will be in Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
