Donna Jo Walker

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donna Jo Walker, 58, of Harrisburg, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at her residence in Harrisburg.

She was born in Harrisburg on March 8, 1951, to Elfie (Duke) Dudley and the late Aaron Dudley. She married Darrell Walker on May 2, 1970, and he survives in Harrisburg. She was a pharmacy tech for Wallace Pharmacy and Walgreens, and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband Darrell, she is survived by her mother, Elfie Dudley; son, Brent Walker and wife Erica of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughter, Jaye Lynn Shanks and husband Alex of Marion; three grandchildren, Briley Shanks, Cooper Shanks and Aaron Walker; and brother, David Dudley and wife Dawn of Galatia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Dudley; and one brother, Jackie Eugene Dudley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Mark Smith will officiate; burial will follow in Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Building Fund.
