Delmar Paul Reeder

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Delmar Paul Reeder, 76, 615 North America Road, Harrisburg, died 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, surrounded by his family at his home.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Jeff Rush officiating. Burial will be in Ledford Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ledford Cemetery or the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1933, in Harrisburg to the late Delmar Dwan and Thelma (Medlin) Reeder. On June 15, 1956, he married Bonnie Pennington and she preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 2009.

He was retired from the United States Air Force, where he served for over 22 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two sons, Mark (Becky) Reeder of Harrisburg and Clifford Reeder of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Theresa Fritts of Harrisburg; two brothers, James Reeder and Richard Reeder, both of Harrisburg; three sisters, Carolyn Thomas and Linda Hutchinson, both of Harrisburg and Patty Harrod of Braidwood; and five grandchildren, Seth Fritts, Jamie Fritts, Caleb Reeder, Jeremiah Fritts and Jose Reeder.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sisters, Alma Odle and Barbara Reeder; and two brothers, Donald Reeder and Robert Reeder.
