Inez Marie Hoover

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Inez Marie Hoover, 95, 1201 County Road, Carmi, formerly of Eldorado, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Enfield Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 5, 1914, in Eldorado to James and Nancy E. (Ross) Collins. She married Roy L. Hoover, who preceded her in death in March 1987.

She was a nurse's aide at Carmi-Wabash Christian Center, having retired in the late 1960s. She was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation.

She is survived by three sons, James L. (Claire) Hoover of Topsham, Maine, Richard A. (Sarah Cummins) Hoover of Eldorado and Kenneth R. (Robbie) Hoover of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Ruby J. Williams of McLeansboro and Mary Beth Longacre of Carmi; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Gene Longacre and Swede Williams; and three brothers.
