Josephine Nudo

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Josephine Nudo, 94, of Chicago, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was the widow of Anthony W. Nudo, who preceded her in death. They were married on Nov. 24, 1938.

Josephine was born in Chicago on Dec. 16, 1914, the daughter of the late Diego and Antoinette (Ali) Russore.

She was a homemaker.

Josephine is survived by a daughter, Donna L. Nudo of Chicago, and a son, David, husband of Connie Nudo of Raleigh; a granddaughter, Jennifer Nudo of Raleigh; and three sisters, Lena Strohm of Schaumburg and Jenny Bartolli and Albena DeVito of Chicago.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Ficarro and Rose Bearzotti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado with Fr. Ignatius Okonkwo officiating. Visitation will be held 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fountainview Nursing Home activity department and left at the funeral home.
