David Leslie Ard

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[David Leslie Ard, 59, Harrisburg, passed away at Harrisburg Medical Center on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.

David was born on March 29, 1950, in Saline County to the late Truett and Ruby (McVay) Ard. He married Myra Farlow and she preceded him in death.

David is survived by one daughter, Angie Hathaway and husband Lynn of Harrisburg; mother, Ruby Trusty of Harrisburg; a sister, Kathy Jones of Harrisburg; and nephew, Kevin Jones of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Truett Ard; and brother, Jim Ard.

Private graveside services will be held at Adkins Cemetery near Omaha with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family through the Obituary Page at the Internet site www.reedfuneralchapel.com.
