Dorothy J. Asbell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy J. Asbell, 68, Harrisburg, died 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

As per Mrs. Asbell's wishes, her body was cremated. The family will be having a memorial dinner at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Mackie's Pizza. There will be a private (family only) burial at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born July 16, 1941, in Harrisburg to Williard and Lillian (Meadows) Flemming. In August 1967, she married Terry Asbell.

She was Baptist by faith and a retired certified nurse's assistant.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Nikke) Adams of Marion and Randy Levi Adams of Conway, Ark.; and a grandson, Cody Adams of Marion.
