Roy Keith Pindell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Roy Keith Pindell, 82, of 185 S. Main St., Junction, passed away at his home at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009.

He was born on April 10, 1927, in Corydon, Ind., the son of Burrell S. And Virgie Lou (Carroll) Pindell. He married Marilyn Travers on July 26, 1952.

Roy proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer, a member of Beulah Masonic Lodge No. 578 and a Shriner.

Roy is survived by his wife, Marilyn Pindell of Junction; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Davidson of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Duane Keith Pindell of Hernando, Miss. and Russell Kevin and Donna Pindell of Millington, Tenn.; his sister, Doris Yeida of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents and brother, Sidney M. Pindell.

Visitation for Roy will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. the following day, Oct. 31, 2009, at the chapel with Larry Barker officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Two Cemetery near Omaha with military rites by Ridgway American Legion Post No. 596.
