Nancy E. Turner

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Nancy E. Turner, 70, Harrisburg, died 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Chris Winkleman officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Harrisburg to Everett and Grace (Towel) Pankey. On Oct. 28, 1984, she married Frederic Michael "Mike" Turner, who preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2000.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Shawnee Telephone and Bar-B-Q Barn. She was a member of Harrisburg First Baptist Church, Harrisburg Lions Club and the Harrisburg Red Hats.

She is survived by two daughters, Gay (Brent) Turner of Equality and Cindy (Cecil) Smith of Eldorado; a son, Mike (Melody) Grisham of Marion; a brother-in-law, Jim Coyle of Equality; a grandson, Randy Steinmetz of Harrisburg; seven granddaughters, Christian (Jonathan) Troutt of Harrisburg, Brittany (Brett) Lane of Equality, Trish (Shannon) Cossey of Harrisburg, Stephanie (Brad) Dowdy of Harrisburg, Sarah (Larry) Degrave of Harrisburg, Ashley (Darren) Beaumont of Eldorado and Tammara Smith of Eldorado; two grandsons, Chase Grisham of Marion, Drake Grisham of Marion; a granddaughter, Paige Grisham of Marion; 13 great-grandchildren; and many cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Coyle; and a daughter, Susie Grisham Favell.
