Deborah Lynn Ewald
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Deborah Lynn Ewald, 53, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital.
Deborah was born in Norris City on Nov. 27, 1955, the daughter of the late Charles York and Sylvia (Harris) Maurer.
She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She worked as a housekeeping supervisor at Eldorado Care Center.
Deborah is survived by two sons, Christopher J. Wiley of Harrisburg and Bobby J. (Lynn) York of Germany; three sisters, Becky (Tim) Pate of Granite City, Lisa (Pat) Hayes of Bethalto and Linda Dennis of Eldorado, three brothers, Gary (Alexis) Maurer of Evansville, Ind. Larry (Barbara) Maurer of Harrisburg and Ricky (Pat) Harris of Hecker; three grandchildren, Brittany and Bethany York of Collum and Heather N. Wiley of McLeansboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Smith.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 with Tim Pate officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m. to service time Monday 11am to service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
