</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wendell Conkle, 60, Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Hardin County General Hospital.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Conkle; one daughter; one son; a sister; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
