</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ray Caraker, 74, a resident of Hallsville, Mo., since 2006 and a former resident of Harrisburg and Vienna died 3:53 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at his home in Hallsville, Mo.

<p class="MsoPlainText">A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Harrisburg First Christian Church, 20 S. Webster St., Harrisburg. Brother Howard Scott will officiate.

<p class="MsoPlainText">Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery near Buncombe. Military graveside rites will be accorded.

<p class="MsoPlainText">The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Harrisburg First Christian Church.

<p class="MsoPlainText">In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Compassus, 3050 I-70 Drive SE, Suite 100, Columbia, Mo., 65201, or to the Ellis Fishel Cancer Center, 115 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, Mo. 65201.
