Mabel M. Johnson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mabel M. Johnson, 84, 60 Rays Road, Harrisburg, died 3:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Bob Workman officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1924, in Stonefort to the late George and Anna (Lammunion) Sittig. On April 14, 1965, she married Howard "Big Boy" Johnson, who preceded her in death on May 6, 1994.

She was a member of Smarts Chapel Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Etta Mae Harrelson of Harrisburg; two sons, Frank (Donna) Johnson of Equality and Earnie (Kathy) Johnson of Norris City; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Johnson of Harrisburg; a brother, Wesley (Maggie) Sittig of Bourbonnais; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Johnson; a son-in-law, Mike Harrelson; and seven brothers and sisters.
