</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy M. Knight, 80, rural Broughton, died 8:20 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.

Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Roger Hobbs officiating. Burial was in Digby Hill Cemetery, Dale. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was the widow of Wayne A. Knight. She is survived by a son, daughter-in-law, daughter, three grandchildren, brother, sister and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
