</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donnie Mae Haas, 80, 1150 Jefferson St., Apt. 14, Eldorado, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Cave-In-Rock, Hardin County, to Benjamin and Golda (Rowland) Jerrells.

She worked as a telephone operator.

She is survived by a sister, Loree Meeks; two cousins, Betty Noelle of Eldorado and Margaret Hobbs of Shawneetown; and many friends, including the residents of the Jefferson Street apartments.

As per her request, her body has been cremated and no services will be held. Arrangements are in the charge of Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado.
