Rose Durant

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rose Durant, 78, of Harrisburg, died 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Rose was born on March 30, 1931, in Ledford to the late Joe and Atrall (Zane) Molnar. She married Bob Durant Sr. on Nov. 14, 1954, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2005.

Rose is survived by two sons, Bob Durant Jr. and wife Joy of Harrisburg; Dr. Bill Durant of Glendale, Calif.; one daughter, Janet Lane and husband Keith of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Atrall and Joshua Durant; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Anita Dixon; and brother, Louie Felber.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Darrell Ford and the Rev. Ron Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
