Randy A. Murphy

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Randy A. Murphy, 41, of 110 S. Walnut St., Stonefort, died 4:37 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was born on April 6, 1968, in Harrisburg to Larry Murphy and Carolyn Sue (Carner) Detwyler.

He was a truck driver and had attended First Church of God in Carrier Mills.

He is survived by his father, Larry Murphy of Stonefort; mother, Carolyn Sue Detwyler of Mill Roy, Minn.; two daughters, Megan Murphy and Sierra Morse, both of Stonefort; son, Brandon Murphy of Harrisburg; companion, Leann Fritts of Stonefort; three grandchildren, Gavin Sloan of Stonefort, Allie Murphy and McKenzie Murphy, both of Harrisburg; two sisters, Cindy Ellis of Mount Vernon and Hope Rifer of Eddyville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Murphy.
