Marie (Weatherly) Brown

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marie (Weatherly) Brown, 97, of Hillsboro, Tenn., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009.

She was born on April 3, 1912, in Christopher to the late Joe and Anna (Gordon) Hergert. On May 3, 1930, she married Eugene Weatherly, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1980. On Jan. 1, 1982, she married Clifford Brown, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1987.

Surviving family members include a son, Robert Weatherly and wife Carol of Daytona Beach, Fla.; son, David Weatherly and wife Neva of Hillsboro, Tenn.; daughter, Peggy Allen of Jackson, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jeff Weatherly of Harrisburg, Keith Weatherly of Harrisburg, Dan Weatherly and wife Jill of Hillsboro, Tenn., David Bartley Jr. and wife Carla of Daytona Beach, Fla., Shari Potter and husband Jack of Harrisburg, Beth James and husband Benton of Jackson, Tenn. and Becky Turner and husband Luke of Hillsboro, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three daughters, Jo Ann Bartley and twins Caroline and Evelyn Weatherly in infancy; a son-in-law, Fred Allen; and grandson, Steve Allen.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at Lindale Cemetery. Friends may gather at the cemetery. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
