Dorothy Mae Keltner

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Mae Keltner, 86, a resident of Broken Arrow, Okla., died in Tulsa, Okla., Monday, Aug. 10, 2009.

She was born in Harrisburg, Oct. 27, 1922, daughter of Louis Franklin Hill and Ella Douglas Hill. Her father died when she was 3 years old. Arley Sheldon of Harrisburg later became her stepfather.

She attended school in Harrisburg and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1942. She worked as secretary for the International Union of Operating Engineers 20 years.

She married Robert Keltner on Sept. 23, 1944. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1981. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Anita and Marsha; and a sister, Phyllis Duncan. She moved to Tulsa, Okla., in 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce, and wife Cathy, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Carroll, and wife Cathy, of Raleigh. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Brad, of Camden, S.C., Josh, Andy, Luanne and Stephen of Broken Arrow, Okla., Matt of Harrisburg and Nick of Raleigh. Dorothy is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Ella, Olivia and Goldie Keltner, of Camden, S.C. and Gabe, Hope, Cash and Michael Keltner of Broken Arrow, Okla. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at First Christian Church of Harrisburg, where she was a longtime member. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church.
