Brad Staley
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Brad Staley, 21, of Norris City, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Kentucky Lake in Lyon County, Ky.
He was born Feb. 26, 1988, in Evansville, Ind., the son of Jeffery Alan and Annjanette Sue (Morphis) Staley. Mr. Staley was a master helmsman with the U.S. Navy, First Deck Division on the USS Eisenhower, Operation Enduring Freedom 2006 - 2007 and 2009.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Angel and Eric Drone of Norris City; his father and friend, Jeff Staley and Julie Hill of Norris City; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Danielle and Kyle Rankin of Carmi and Taylor Staley of Norris City; one brother, Shaun Staley of Norris City; maternal grandparents, Jim and Margie Morphis of Hermitage, Tenn. and Sandra and Nile Stoltz of Olney; paternal grandparents, Sue Staley of Norris City and Larry and Leona Staley of Fairfield; maternal great-grandfather, William Boyd of Flora; two aunts, Tonya Powell, Springfield and Lei Anne and husband Mike Westfall of Norris City; one uncle, Terry and wife Debbie Turner of Chandler, Ind; and one niece, Kadence Rankin.
Funeral services for Brad Staley, 21, of Norris City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with the Rev. Roger Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009.
