Dorothy Louise Clark

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Louise Clark, 89, a resident of Carrier Mills Nursing Home, died 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Steve O'Keefe officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery, Morganfield, Ky. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born July 6, 1920, in Morganfield, Ky., to Herman and Galena (Wright) Thomas. On April 7, 1951, she married Wm. Ross Clark, who preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1975.

She was a retired receptionist for the A.L. Bowen Center and a member of First Methodist Church of Harrisburg.

She is survived by a niece, Clara Evans of Evansville, Ind.; two great-nieces, Julie (Mike) Burns of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kristen (Matt) Quinland of Roswell, Ga.; four great-great-nephews, Evan and Carson Quinlin of Roswell, Ga. and Isaac and Elias Burns of Jacksonville, Fla.; a great-great-niece, Maya Burns of Jacksonville, Fla.; close friends, Bonnie and Jim Herrin of Harrisburg and Leigh, James and Chris Herrin, John and Janice O'Keefe of Marion, Julie and Bart Emery of Marion and Steve and Amy O'Keefe of Marion.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Mukerin and Clara Reburn; and a nephew, Thomas Burns.
