Kale Eugene Jeffords

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kale Eugene Jeffords, 3-month-old son of Aaron Eugene Jeffords and Bobbie Jo (Barger) Jeffords, passed away Thursday morning, July 16, 2009, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Kale was born April 6, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

Kale is survived by his parents, Aaron and Bobbie Jeffords of rural Harrisburg (the Delwood community); his big sister, Kennadi Jeffords of Vienna; paternal grandparents, Melvin Jeffords Jr. and Patty (Lay) Jeffords of Dixon Springs; maternal grandparents, Vic and Jeanette Barger of Eddyville; great-grandparents, Melvin Jeffords, Sr. and Nadine Jeffords of Brookport; two great-grandmothers, Maudie Jeffords of Brookport and Zella Mae McCree of Marion; two uncles, Melvin Jeffords III and Rebecca, and Jerod Wayne Barger; special cousins, Kane Jeffords and Macayla; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Kale was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eugene and Gloria Lay and Dee and Rena Barger.

Kale especially loved his big sister, Kennadi. He also loved his toys, Tigger and Lamb.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the Eddyville Baptist Church. Pastor Bud Sork officiated. Burial was in the Boulden Cemetery near Eddyville. Friends called from 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the church.
