Anna Laverne Kaid
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Anna Laverne Kaid, 81, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital.
She was the widow of Wendell Kaid.
Anna was born in Wasson on April 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Granville and Ethel (Dawson) Colbert.
She worked as a housekeeper at Fountainview Nursing Home. After retirement she worked as a volunteer at the "Secret on Pine" hospital gift shop at Ferrell Hospital.
She was a very active member of the Eldorado Project Bounce before it became Eldorado Main Street.
Anna is survived by a daughter, Donna (Tom) Gregg of St. Louis, Mo.; and two sons, Russ Kaid of Eldorado and William Kaid of Eldorado. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Barbara Colbert of Benton, Shirley Rister of Broughton and Lee Kaid of Eldorado.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Cecil Colbert, Norman Colbert, Robert Colbert and Florence Leonardy.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009, with the Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
