Shirley Eileene Norman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Shirley Eileene Norman, 83, a resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Galatia, died 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at her residence.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009, at First United Methodist Church of Harrisburg. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Harrisburg to James and Lula (Borders) Lambert. She was married to Robert L. Norman from Nov. 23, 1944, to Oct. 31, 1992.

She was a retired church organist, music therapist and nursing home administrator. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Harrisburg.

She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Paul) Medlin of Franklin, Tenn., Terry Lynn Norman of Pleasant, Tenn. and Kristy Blaire (Tom) Boulds of Eldorado; two granddaughters, Lindsey Blaire Medlin of Franklin, Tenn. and Samantha Jo Boulds of Eldorado; a grandson, Jeremy Robert Boulds of Eldorado; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil, Herman and Milo Lambert.
