Jim Gwaltney
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jim Gwaltney, 73, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Gaskins City, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, Ind.
He was born on July 22, 1935, in Harrisburg to the late James and Anna Fay (Lind) Gwaltney. On March 2, 1984, he married Brenda Haynes and she survives.
Jim was the owner of United Graphics in Chicago, and was an Army veteran serving in Korea. He was a Baptist by faith.
Surviving family members include his wife, Brenda Gwaltney of Elizabethtown; daughter, Lynn Embaugh and husband David of Lexington, Ky.; daughter, Jamie Gwaltney of Wisconsin; son, Jim Gwaltney and wife Heather of Wisconsin; son, Jeff Gwaltney and wife Amber of Wisconsin; son, Jon Gwaltney of Wisconsin; daughter, Lisa Rusnak and husband Tim of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Tracy Apperson of Springfield; sister, Pat (Masulis) Harvel and husband Gary of Harrisburg; sister, Maria Lane and husband Roger of Elizabethtown; stepmother, Babe (Summers) Osterkamp and husband Calvin; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Marilyn Mattingly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Garris Cemetery in Stonefort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
