</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dickie Howard Shell, 64, 1496 Rhine Road, Eldorado, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Mark Shell officiating. Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1944, in Mount Vernon to Dorothy Elizabeth (Hutchcraft) and the late Warren Shell. In March 1982, he married the former Brenda Rhine, who survives.
He was a painter and drywall finisher. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed the outdoors.
In addition to his mother in Wayne City and his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Todd (Denise) Ballard of Buckeye, Ariz.; a daughter, Kelly Elizabeth (Shell) Gouchenour of Peoria, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Cindy (Scott) Wilt of Buckeye, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Iris Shell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Shell.
