Jerry D. Harrison

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerry D. Harrison, 69, 120 S. Land St., Harrisburg, died Thursday, May 21, 2009.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated and a memorial service was held. Burial was in Salem Cemetery. Arrangements were in the charge of Gaskins Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

He was born Feb. 21, 1940, in Ledford to William Walter and Winnie (Reid) Harrison.

He was a welder for Morton Welding and was Pentecostal.

He is survived by a son, Jerry Dean Harrison of Pekin; a daughter, Janet K. Applito of Florida; a brother, Carl Harrison of Pomona Park, Fla.; two sisters, Janelle V. Stunson of Harrisburg and Vera Lee Fowler of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, David Harrison of Pekin; a twin sister, Judy Trail of Buford, Ga.; a grandson, Justin Appolito of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and his basketball buddies, nephews, Keith and Kevin Stunson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, R.J. Harrison; and a sister, Irene Harrison.
