Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Belle Rive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard McCormick and the Rev. Jeremy Hamson officiating. Burial will be in Crisel Cemetery near Dahlgren. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home, Dahlgren.

She was the widow of Willie "Bill" Parkhill. She is survived by two sons, two daughters-in-law, two daughters, two sons-in-law, two brothers, one sister, six sisters-in-law, 12 grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, 24 great-grandchildren, two great-stepgrandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-stepgrandchildren.
