Mark Fromm

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mark A. Fromm, 47, of Anna, but longtime resident of Ridgway, died suddenly on Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Mark had an accidental fall while working.

Mark was born in Eldorado on March 26, 1962, to Hubert and Sarah (Boulds) Fromm. He was a high school graduate from Ridgway High School. He then pursued and obtained a electronics degree from Southeastern Illinois College. On Dec. 15, 1984, he married the love of his life, the former Cathy (Bond) Fromm, who survives.

Mark worked as a technician for Verizon Telephone. He was a member of the IBEW Union. He was a great family man who lived his life for his wife, children and family and his faith. His enjoyment was being with the people he loved. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway. He was a good husband, father, son and brother and will be greatly missed by the community.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cathy (Bond) Fromm of Anna; a son, Justin Fromm of Anna; a daughter, Megan Fromm and her fiancee, Jonathan Frost of Nashville, Tenn.; his parents, Hubert and Sarah Fromm of Ridgway; four brothers, Bob (Joan) Fromm of Junction, Don (Debbie) Fromm of Shawneetown, Steve (Kim) Fromm of Equality and Mike (Patti) Fromm of Morganfield, Ky.; sisters, Jane (Cletus) Bond of Ridgway, Linda (Ed) Bickett of Ridgway, Sue (Jay) Wathen of Evansville, Ind., Joyce(Roger) Mobley of Ridgway, Carol (Keith) Farris of Ridgway and Lisa (Chris) Berry of Harrisburg; his mother- and father-in-law, Doug (Helen) Bond of Ridgway; and brother- and sister-in-law, Greg (Janie) Drone of Eldorado; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by a niece, Sarah Wathen; and nephew, Timmy Drone; and grandparents, Roy and Teresa Boulds and Anton and Emma Fromm.

Visitation for Mark will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway with a prayer service starting at 4 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, with Fr. Mark Stec officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to the church in Mark's memory.
