Georgia Ann Maxwell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Georgia Ann Maxwell, 82, Harrisburg, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Golconda to the late George and Mary (Wallace) Gibson. On Nov. 21, 1946, she married Robert Wayne Maxwell, and he survives.

Georgia was a seamstress for the cap factory for many years and was an avid follower of Joel Osteen.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Malinda and husband Monty Field of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Erin and Duncan Maxwell and Brandi and Courtney Field; her daughter-in-law, Donna Jones; and several special nieces and nephews survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Dale Maxwell; and a brother, Gordon Gibson.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will follow in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
