Grace Pankey

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Grace Pankey, 97, 2015 Old Route 13 East, Equality, died 5:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Lindale Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Winkleman officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Sept. 6, 1911, in Eldorado to the late William Charles and Mary Edna (Griffin) Towle. On June 14, 1934, she married Everett W. Pankey, who preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1978.

She was a retired homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Starkey; a daughter, Nancy Turner; a son-in-law, James T. Coyle; several grandchildren, Gay and Brent Turner, Cindy and Cecil Smith and Mike and Melody Grisham; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Towle; a daughter, Jane Coyle; and a granddaughter, Suzy Grisham.
