</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Joseph E. "Joe" Lewis, 101, of McLeansboro, died 1:50 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

He was the widower of Lora Marie Dial. He is survived by six nieces and eight nephews.
