Everett Roy Henson Sr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Everett Roy Henson Sr., 71, of Paris, Tenn., formerly of the Saline County area, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Henry County Medical Center, Paris, Tenn.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with Pastor Clevie Bell officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was born Nov. 8, 1937, in Alton to Bert A. and Emma (Hartman) Henson. On Oct. 13, 2005, he married Ruby M. Staffey, who survives in Paris, Tenn.

He was a retired auto mechanic.

He is survived by three sons, Everett Henson Jr. of Eldorado, Aaron W. (Janis) Henson of Carson, Calif., and Arnold L. (Jackie) Henson of Harrisburg; three stepsons, Clint (Kristina) Riddle of West Frankfort, Mark Riddle of Canton and Carl Rogers of Eldorado; two daughters, Melinda K. (Cullen) McKernan of Eldorado and Angela M. (James) Rice of Paris, Tenn.; two brothers, Charley (Rosemary) Henson and Paul Henson, both of Delaware; and 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
