Alice Smith

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alice Smith, 90, of Harrisburg, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Saline County to the late Berties and Willia (Lamb) Guard. Alice married Hal Smith, and he preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a retired hygienist with Dr. Funkhouser. She was a member of Harrisburg First Baptist Church and secretary of her "Naomi-Joy" Sunday School class.

She is survived by a son, Larry Smith of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be no service. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
