Naomi Sturam
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Naomi Sturam, 91, a resident of Shawneetown, died 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
She was born Oct. 9, 1917, in Williamson County to Logan Dunaway and Edith Launius. On March 30, 1944, she married Paul Sturam, who preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2000.
She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Indian Camp Baptist Church in Stonefort.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Sue Sturam of Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Ruth Zivic of Chicago; a sister-in-law, Lorene Dunaway of Florida; two grandchildren, Dirk Crawford of Paducah, Ky., and Josh Stilley of Evansville, Ind.; and a great-grandchild, Levi Paul Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Oather Dunaway.
Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Michael Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery.
