Carolyn Sue Sterling

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Carolyn Sue Sterling, 83, of Eldorado, passed away at 9:58 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Finnie Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

She was the widow of Wayne Sterling.

Sue was born in Eldorado on February 22, 1925, the daughter of the late Clem and Eva (Bruce) Nash.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado.

She worked as an administrative secretary for Verizon before retirement.

Sue is survived by a sister, Peggy Horton of Eldorado; two nephews; and a host of cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roderic Nash.

Sue was cremated at her request and a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 28, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Eldorado. Immediately following the memorial service a time of fellowship will be held in the basement of the church. At approximately 3 p.m., she will be buried in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
