Carol Jean McCabe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carol Jean McCabe, 70, of 608 W. Elm St., Harrisburg, died 4:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at her residence.

As per her wishes, Mrs. McCabe will be cremated with a memorial service and burial at a later date. Arrangements are in the charge of Gaskins-Jones Funeral Home, Harrisburg.

She was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Rockford to Kenneth and Doris Ann (Price) Hamley.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Melinda Hemp and Katherine McCabe of Harrisburg; a son, Kenneth McCabe of Harrisburg; two daughters, Candy L. Summers of Harrisburg and April McClaugherty of Grand Junction, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lora Moore.
