Benita M. (Roper) Marsh

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Benita N. (Roper) Marsh, 77, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 6, 1931, the daughter of Guy and Margaret (Gibbons) Roper. She married Edwin L. Marsh on Jan. 10, 1957, in Harvey.

Mrs. Marsh graduated from Harrisburg High School, and was employed as a housemother at University of Northern Iowa, and later went to work with Control-O-Fax.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; a son, Richard (Scott) Marsh of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a daughter, Lori (Arden) Bock of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Bruce Roper of La Porte, Ind.; and a sister, Boni Suseland of Demotte, Ind.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Roper.

Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with interment at a later date in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation also for one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
