Emma I. (Takacs) Zechini

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Emma I. (Takacs) Zechini, 90, of Litchfield, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at the Litchfield Healthcare Center.

Emma was born on Aug. 27, 1918, in Buckner. Her childhood was spent in Southern Illinois and Oklahoma. She was one of nine brothers and sisters. Her surviving brothers, Paul and Carl (Imogene) Griffiths, reside in Harrisburg.

She was married to Charles Takacs who preceded her in death in 1954. They had two children, Beverly and Jerry. She later married John Zechini in 1963 and he preceded her in death.

Beverly Sinclair-Warren passed in 1999. Beverly was married to John Sinclair who preceded her in death. Beverly was married to Richard Warren. Beverly and John's children, Charles and Paul Sinclair, live in Litchfield and Monticello, respectively.

Charles is married to Kelly and they have two children, Catlin and Nolan. Paul is married to Billi and they have two children, Riley and Connor.

Emma's son, Jerry is married to Barbara and they have two daughters, Jennifer and Sara. Jennifer is married to Brad Hess and has two girls, Olivia and Ahnnika. Sara lives and works in northern Illinois.

Emma owned and operated a beauty shop in Litchfield for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Emma attended the Baptist Church and was active in senior activities. Emma's wit and perspective will be missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
