Cleo Marie Schnake
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Cleo Marie Schnake, 89, of Eldorado, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital.
Cleo was born in Lola, Ky., on May 15, 1919, the daughter of the late Elmer and Carrie (Adams) Tharp.
She worked as a waitress at The Dairy Bar in Golconda before retirement.
Cleo is survived by a son, Wayne (Martha) Wilbanks of Eldorado. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Lorna Grinstead of South Dakota, Lana Gollihur of Arizona, Vince (Tracy Brown) Wilbanks of Eldorado and Lisa Galaini of North Dakota; eight grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Cleo is also survived by two sisters, Dottie Taber of Vienna and Lucille King of Peoria.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Tharp and Donald Lee Tharp; and six sisters, Macie Hughes, Recie Turner, Juanita Wilbanks, Imogene James, Ilene Kroll and Wanda Mae Beabout.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado with the Rev. Buddy Sork officiating. Burial will be in Lola, Ky. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
