</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alice V. Prather, 87, of McLeansboro, died 11:47 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center, McLeansboro.

Services were held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Mark Hutson officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was the widow of Glenn E. Prather. She is survived by a son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and two grandchildren.
