Eva Hafford
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Eva Hafford, 85, of Norris City, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at her residence in Norris City.
She was born June 10, 1923, in Grayville, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Smith) Tarrant. She married Floyd Davis Hafford in 1946; he preceded her in death Jan. 28, 1963.
She was a member of the Crossroads Bible Church in Norris City. She had been a cook at the Bowen Center.z
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Norman Hankins of Evansville, Ind., Dene and David Scroggins and Rose and Homer Cameron, all of Norris City; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jackie Mace of Eldorado; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Mace; two sisters, Irma Jean Alvey and June Usery; and a brother, George Tarrant.
Funeral services for Eva Hafford, 85, of Norris City, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at the Crossroads Bible Church in Norris City with Pastor Chad Everett officiating. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado. Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. until service time Friday. The Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
