Leo H. Anderson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leo H. Anderson, 81, of Galatia, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at the Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

He was born Nov. 2, 1927, to the late Floyd Raymond and Bessie (Cardwell) Anderson. He married Paula (Wilson) Anderson and she survives.

He was a member of the Harco Baptist Church, but attended the First Baptist Church of Galatia. He was a farmer.

Leo is also survived by one son, Eddie (Shelby) Anderson of Galatia; two stepdaughters, Darlene (Len) Bruce of Marion and Sheri (Paul) Grace of Greenfield, Ind.; and a stepson, Dennis Trail of Galatia. There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 10 great-stepgrandchildren; and seven sisters, Iva, Guye, Nadine Selvidge, Helen Neabuhr, Fern Harris, Anna Mae Seidel, Vita Lampert and Linda Hopson.

Preceding him in death were parents; first wife, Helen (Wise) Anderson; two brothers, Henry and Edsel Anderson; and sisters, Louise Galleher and Mary Anderson.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation 11 a.m. to the funeral hour on Wednesday with the Rev. Roy Hughes officiating. Burial is in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
