Harold K. Foster
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harold K. Foster, 85, of Centralia, died at 11:19 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.
Harold was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Eldorado, the son of Lawrence and Nellie (Reed) Foster. He married Dolores Martin on Jan. 23, 1944, in Clinton, Okla.
Harold moved to Centralia from Eldorado in 1965. He worked 27 years as parts manager at Bill Rick Ford, retiring in 1992. He was a volunteer for Clean and Green for 10 years. Harold was a member of the Baptist church in Eldorado, a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge No. 201 A.F. and A.M. in Centralia, the Centralia Shrine Club and the Elks Lodge No. 493 in Centralia. Harold was also a bowler, a fisherman and golfer.
Harold is survived by his wife, Dolores Foster of Centralia; one daughter, Linda Rice and husband Gary of Centralia; two granddaughters, Tracey Rice and Beth Rice; and a great-granddaughter, Erica Foltz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and five sisters, Leona McKinnis, Evelyn Vickers, Lola Johnson, Wilma Mitchell and Nadine Mitchell.
Visitation will be at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at the Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia with Dr. Gary Allen officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado.
Memorials may be made to the Park Place or Kaskaskia Workshop and will be received at the funeral home.
