Services were held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. John Howat and the Rev. Brett Beasley officiating. Burial was in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 and 8 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
